Born in Hokkaido, “Ishikari Nabe” is a traditional hot pot made with chunks of salmon and its bones simmered with vegetables in a kombu-based broth, seasoned with miso.
It features plenty of Western vegetables and offers a hearty, comforting taste of northern Japan.
